Thanks

I am curious on this too. I have not started construction yet. If you get the cabane gear with the kit, will the shock just bolt on?

Re: Converting from Grove to Monster Shock Gear
It took me 3 days of work to do the Shock Monster installation. Day one was trimming the fairing then attaching with hysol, and covering with fabric. Day two Polybrush and Polyspray. Wait 3 days for curing then spray Aerothane top coat. Day 3 was removing Grove gear then installing the new gear.
The Shock Monster gear is just awesome on landing. You do give up some top speed but it's worth it.

Did you get your fairings installed that you were working on?

Re: Converting from Grove to Monster Shock Gear
What did the total shock monster gear end up weighing compared to the grove gear??

Re: Converting from Grove to Monster Shock Gear
I weighed everything that I took off and the Monster gear and the difference was just under 4 lbs added weight for ShockMonster. Totally worth the cost and effort to upgrade.
