Sorry to hear of Jim’s passing Larry.😢
Condolences to to Jim’s family and many friends. Jim embodied, and early on, helped define the spirit of our Kitfox community. His love of the Kitfox design enthused several of our current members to pursue the Kitfox life. Rightly so, Jim and his beautiful Kitfox Model 4 were featured early in TeamKitfox’s “Kitfox of the Month” section.
“ October 2009 Kitfox of the Month Jim Shnowske “
Jim enjoyed his passion year-round with his Model 4 on skis. Having his own grass strip was icing on the cake. The skies of Wisconsin and many friends on local grass strips will miss Jim’s visits. We will miss him here.

Sorry to hear this Larry. Never met Jim in person, but talked to him a few times on the phone and he helped me out. Definatly seemed like a very decent person. No doubt he will be missed. Very sad.... JImChuk
