Good timing on this thread coming back around. On my project I have an 80 hp 912 UL. It has an oil cooler on it, but I am considering leaving it off and am wondering how many with the UL are running an oil cooler? I see that the instructions in the Kitfox IV manual don't call for an oil cooler at all. If one isn't needed then I won't put one on. If the temps are in check during summer flight without then I would rather not have it for winter flying.
