    Default Kitfox down

Sad news in the Portland area. A Kitfox went down at Pearson Field (Vancouver,WA) today killing one. The other's condition is not known. It appears to have gone down on the field.

Read into the reports and please keep your speculation private. Let the investigation play out.

Keep the families in your thoughts/prayers and be careful.

    My condolences to the families.

    This site:
    http://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/wiki.php?id=146541
mentions "apparent engine problems on takeoff"
The FAA registry says it had a Rotax, but not what model.

    Roberto.
