What was your different "disease" with the 582 during this 277 hours ?

I really don't understand what you are asking, if i did I have problems with the 582 the answer is no it ran fine I just don't like 2 strokes that much, and it got really tiresome to have to change the needle jets every spring and again in the fall, changing spark plugs every 25 hrs. changing coolant and hoses every couple of years the low 300 hr TBO and cost of overhauling the engine plus the high fuel burn. Going from 4.5 gph down to 3 gph is a savings and the TBO of 1000 hrs vs 300 hrs the HKS cost 1/2 of what it cost to operate the 582.
