That was a new setting I found on my phone camera. Haha. First picture I had taken on the setting. It does look fake but its real Eric! haha

Very slow going on my build but I finally had some free time over 4th of July weekend to put in the hours to finish my Butt Rib installation and my Flaperon reinforcement tabs. Feeling like I finally made a little progress! Working on Butt Rib Closeouts this weekend.
Looking good Kevin. You are making good progress!

Harlan you asked what I am doing (and I know we talked by phone - but others might want to know as well). The link below gives a really good explanation of what is in work and how I came to think trying the mod might be worth the effort. I have a hot date tomorrow morning (with a welder) so hopefully a flight test write up might be available later this week.

Has a bit of unplanned delay in getting the new balance tube (pipe?, crossover tube?) installed due to a delay in getting the welder to come in to work. But - the deed is done and am I happy. Didn't have time today to take it up for a test flight but a ground run showed the hoped for improvement in idle. At 2000 - absolutely smooth. And, where it really didn't like to idle much below 2000 before (it would but didn't like to) the same can now be said at 1600. 1800 is what it was at 2000 before. I'll put the balancer on it after Oshkosh just for grins and take it to altitude after that.

Got my seat pan fitted and sat in the airplane for the first time making airplane noises! ;-)
