    Default Axel wall thickness

Does anyone know the wall thickness of the 3/4" OD axels used on the Model III? I am actually looking for the ID, but will use any info that is available.

    Thanks.

My from the factory Model IV came with solid axles. Drilling was an option, especially if mounting wheel pants. My current IV was started by a previous owner and the axles were drilled apparently for lightening as there were no wheel pants. The structural portion - where the bearings would be and about 2/3 of the length within the landing gear mounting tube is drilled to 29/64". Where the nut screws on and the last inch or so in the gear mount tubing are drilled to about a half inch.
