    Default panel swap

will a panel from a Fox V fit into a Fox IV? Is the bracing behind the panel the same? If it is different then by how much? Could the panel be trimmed down to fit?

    wannafly,
The -5-7SS panel is about 36" wide and the -4 is about 32" wide. If your 5 panel isn't full of holes, it could be cut down to the 4 size. However, the shape is also a bit different to fit the rounder windscreen and glare shield. You may be able to use the -4 welded bracing - depending on hole mounting placement. The back bracing on the -5 is different but the -4 can be modified to use the -5 bracing by cutting the welded braces from the fuselage. It might be a lot easier to just buy another -4 panel tho...

    Hope this helps,
