    Default Another Kitfox Restored

At Last, They said it couldn't be done but N122DP after a second crash has been restored. Fuselage was stripped and damaged tubing replaced, covered with polyfiber. Two wings from a parted out Speedster were completely redone including a fuel tank in each and nav and strobes in each. Carbs and drive unit on a 912UL done by Lockwood, lower unit and Cylinders checked out by So. MS Light Aircraft and a new IVO ground adjustable prop.

Took two years to get FAA registration and another 8 Months to get Airworthiness Certificate with the help of a Team Kitfox contributor. Just took persistence and providing all that was required regardless.

Anyone facing this I would be happy to share my experience.

Going on the trailer to the airport monday. Deep breath!!!

Congrats Bud. Glad you rescued that Kitfox from a non-flying fate.
Standing by for first flight results and impressions. 👍

Congratulations Bud! Quite an endeavor but many following behind you will navigate easier since you have set another precedent. Nice job. Pic?
