    Default Stringer cross support Question

So my KF 5 kit has aluminum side stringers that go in the saddles. In addition, the build manual shows cross brace stringer support tubes that go from stringer to stringer through the air frame in 3 places.
The KF build manual on line, does not show these cross brace support tubes. Did these support tubes go away and are no longer used? Would be great if they were because the front one is messing up my extended baggage area that I am building.

    Thanks

The 6 has them. I installed them. I assume they are only there to help hold the shape of the ones running the length of the fuselage. I don't see any other purpose.

Thanks for the replies. It appears that the supports with the saddles on my frame are in the same place and the same quantity as the new kits that do not have the cross supports. I think I would be safe to delete them in my build unless I am missing something? It would also cut some weight by not using them.

Agreed. My series 5 has the aluminum cross tubes as well.
