That looks awsome, You need to fly it over here to my place so i can see it in person. It will be interesting to see what the speed loss is.

Looks great Scott! Natalie likes it too! Are those still the 26” ABWs in the picture?

Great job Scott!
You and I started out with the exact same plane and engine, but your mods have put you on a different level; airmaster CS prop, electronic fuel injection, oil cooler shutter, 26" bushwheels, T3 tailwheel, and now the monster shock main gear.

Thanks guys! These planes are so versatile. They are 26" ABW Josh. I was thinking they would look too small but they look great. Going to the Backcountry tomorrow. I'll report back with specs.

It would be awesome if you could take a few close up pics. Trying to fabricate my gear legs for the same setup your running.

Here are a couple of pictures from this weekends trip to Smiley Creek. I am just loving the Monster gear. Guessing it slowed my speeds between 3 and 5 mph. Still cruising well over 100mph. The gear weighs between 4 and 5 lbs more than the Grove gear that came off. The tradeoffs are worth less than the increase in performance and looks. Really changes the look and adds to the fun of these versatile planes.

Very nice Scott, any opportunity to clean up the gear anymore?
