    Kevin, I like your saying!
Having built one aeroplane I know how easy it is to gain pounds and cant help but be more conscious of weight on this build..

Made some progress the last few weeks, installed the wings again to fit the windscreen/turtledeck cover and double check a few things.
Finished fabricating the stabiliser cover panels and ready to start fitting the wing strut fairings when I'm finished with the windscreen...

Question, What is the source for the carbon fiber lift strut fairings? They look really nice. Thanks.

Hello Dick, I actualy got a company in New Zealand that makes yacht masts and different parts to make them. I was going to make the fairings my self but they had the right size dies and could make them cheaper than I could buy the materials. The company is called c-tech

Good to see the progress Ben! How do the strut fairing join at the rear? it is going to be a work of art when finished. Back to work work for a couple of weeks now I guess? I look forward to flying over to see progress before too much longer!

G'day Ross, I have to cut the fairings down the trailing edge and bond them back together when I install them on the struts. There's around 3.5kg weight saving.
