Ben all I can say is WOW. I can see from the photos the high quality of your craftsmanship and the ingenuity in your build, like the combo inclinometer /trim indicator instrument. You are going to have one quality Kitfox when you are done. Thankfully your location in Australia won't allow you to ever park next to my airplane here in the states. Bruce N199CL

Looks great! Going to be an aggressive looking plane with those shark gills.

I can only imagine the amount of hours you have into that piece!

This is going to be a beautiful plane! I just saw all the other photos you added too. You can tell the quality from across the world.

I see some real artistry happening! Amazingly nice work. Can't wait to see the final paint scheme that goes with that aggressive cowl.

I've heard he doesn't actually want to keep the aircraft once it's built but insists the new owner must live in WA......close to Bunbury, more specifically.

There's a LOT to admire in this build and even without an EFIS I love the look

Good grief Ben, talk about set a standard. The bar is so high I can't even see it. I'll catch a bus to any fly-ins you're at. Your work is simply spectacular, and then some.

Btw, are those fish gills moveable ?.

PaulSS, I give you full marks for trying but I'm going to have a good crack at wearing this aeroplane out when I'm finished... or at least the 2000 hr on the engine! Haha
I just need to finish it before Ross wears his Kitfox out!

David, I've been watching your build and I'm confident they are going to both look great parked side by side!
The gills are fixed but from a few calculations of cowling inlet versus exit area I should be pretty close.
From experience its rare to have to much cylinder head cooling.

Painting is coming to an end with the last of the major items finished over the previous few days. Still lots of small bits and pieces to paint but the pile of parts to paint is getting smaller.
I have a added some pics of the streamlining I did to the flaperon counter balance weights and end caps.
Instrument panel is looking pretty complete now. I got on to model boat 2mm vinyl lettering for labelling the switch panel that I then clear coated. It was a tedious process putting every individual letter on but I am really happy with the end result.
