Nice looking job Ben. Ross told me about you and your workmanship quality. Like him, I'll be parking my aeroplane 100 yards or more from you at any future flying when I'm finished building mine !

Thanks David, I recon Ross in his kindness exaggerates my workman ship... After 4+ years building I think I'm just fussy and pasistant.
Your off to a great start with your assembly! I have to commend you on your posts, I think you've posted more detail than I have for my intire build.. I'm a bit slack when it comes to social media!

Had a productive couple of weeks getting the interior sorted with the motor trimmers and started working on the instrument panel.
Today I installed the engine with a helping hand from a friend and then we installed the engine in his RV-4. we have been building the projects pretty well side by side which has been great for motivation and those jobs that need an extra hand.

That coaming panel looks plush. So do the seats. As a wild guess I'd say the colour scheme is silver and red ..... any red strips to appear on the externals ?

That red looks really nice with the silver. Nice job on the upholstery too. I'm curious about the lever outboard of the pilot's seat cushion.

Those are very nice seats, I've never been a fan of Red. However, the upholstery shop did a very nice job.

Thanks every one, I think it's the most enjoyable stage of building an aeroplane when it all starts coming together.
David - I haven't decided about stripes on the outside yet, I think I will get it assembled and see what I'm working with at that point.
Colospace - The lever beside the pilot seat is a throttle and its linked to the one in the center console so I have dual throttles. I just prefer flying with my right hand and operating the throttle with my left.

Going well Ben! Nearly came over on Monday - but played around on the Dargo high plain instead. Will share a nice place with you - hurry up and finish!
