Got the fuse back to the hangar today and back on the gear. Special thanks to Meyer, Eric, and Alan!

Blimey, that tailwheel looks like its gonna take no arguments from grass, shrubs and even small trees; looks like an Alaskan T3 spring ... your aeroplane paint scheme looks very clean Jeff. Nice.

It’s coming together, slow but sure...
Yes that an Alaska T3 shock spring with a Matco 11” tailwheel. Needed some weight aft due to the 340 so I figured I might as well make it useful weight!
Im painting lift struts this week so wings will go on this weekend!!!

I love that paint scheme. Of course I grew up in the Boss Mustang era, so it holds a special affection.

Nice work. Very nice work. I can hardly wait to see the finished product, and will be very interested to hear how that engine works out for you. Really a neat project.

Thanks for taking the time to post all of your progress.

Thanks Av8r. I remember the Boss 302. Wish I had one!

Hey Jeff, I think your paint scheme must be available again. I've seen a new Ford Mustang driving around in my area that is painted that color along with the black trim.
