    Pulled my oil cooler scoop mold from teh plug today. Came out pretty good! I have since cleaned it up a bit. Should have a part soon!

    The plug is made from 2” insulating foam board from a home improvement store. The base was layed up on the cowl so it matched the contour of the cowl. The affected area on the cowl was covered with clear packing tape and sprayed with mold release. The 2 parts (scoop and base) were epoxied together and dressed with a couple layers of glass cloth, bondo, and spot putty to smooth it out. Finally I sprayed 2or 3 coats of epixy primer, sanded it to 2000 grit and called it good.
