Take pride in your own paint job and the finish you accomplish, it will mean more to you in the end that you did it.
    Well put!

This is my first attempt at painting an I am taking in everything I can before I start spraying paint. We are even making fabric practice panels with 1x2 frames to practice technique and such. They will be prepped just like the aircraft.

Next will be a redesign of the fwd 18" of the cowl... Always wanted to learn CF/glass work.

Weighed BossFox couple weekends ago. 870 lbs! Need to add prop (18 lbs), paint and couple other small items. I'm going to be a bit over 900 lbs which is where I was hoping to be. So far so good....

No Steve.... My truck is giving me fits. Working on pulling the left head. Hope to have it off tomorrow and on to the shop for analysis.

Copy that. Life gets in the way a lot sometimes.

I haven’t worked on my project for a couple weeks now. Lots of life getting in the way right now. Maybe this weekend I’ll get back on track.

Should have an exhaust soon. Got a pic from Aerospace Welding. Looks pretty sweet!
Once the exhaust is on I can get back to shapping the cowl. It is warming up a bit so it shouldn’t be too much longer...

Hpoe the exhaust fits like a glove Jeff. Looks like a few hours invested in making your exhaust system. Is that a local company?

    Steve,
They are in Minnesota. I saw their product at Oshkosh last year and was pretty impressed.
