    Congratulations Dustin!
I have settings for the AP but my links on the push pull tubes are connected to the servos on the wrong location of the arm. The links are supposed to be on the first hole of the arm nearest center. I think you can safely get to the accurate settings safely enough if you just follow the setup in the manual. Make sure your at a safe altitude before you switch that thing on. Those servos are powerful and can make changes pretty quickly.

Hey Dustin, getting the autopilot calibrated early can actually help with Phase I testing. It's nice to let the autopilot fly while you take a minute to write things down.

Looking forward to that first flight report.

Thanks Eddie! I agreed Brian, probably 3rd or 4th flight will incorporate autopilot. Feeling much better today. Some weird virus that made my ears hurt. I would of probably gone to the hospital but my brother got this last week. Said his ears hurt really bad for 24 hours. 🤷*♂️ Taxi test today, flying tomorrow. 👊

Tomorrow maiden flight is a go! Did another full static engine run, leak checked. All looks good. I hooked up a scale and I am getting 650lbs static thrust at a DA of 7000' It has more boost in it and Edge is saying if I turned the boost up more I will likely be over 700lbs. I think 650lbs will be good for now. I did my high speed taxi test. Its funny, our local tower always is friendly and very accommodating when I am in the challenger. But now they where not to friendly to me requesting a taxi test down the runway. I think I may need to take them a box of donuts tomorrow morning and discuss with them my plans.

I got the tail up and she got light on her feet. Flight controls felt good and directional control felt good. The mains may have lifted off when setting the tail down. I glanced at the IAS and I saw 34. There will be two Kitfox's doing the Maiden tomorrow and they are both named Dustin I was very tempted to just take it up, but I wanted to do one final check over everything. I am starting to catch the vision of this flying, taxing with the door open and the wind in your face.

She is safe in the hangar! First flight went well. I climbed it out steep. Data log shows 55indicated climbing at 2430 fpm. Was busy working on it all day trying to get prop balanced. NR props do not like to balance. I will post some pictures later when I can.
