Default Garmin Area 660 antenna question

I am using the Garmin Area 660. I've been trying to find documentation on the antenna needs. It seems that this unit has an internal antenna and, my question is whether or not it is adequate or should I buy an external antenna?

I saw this one via a Google search on the subject:

I've been running a Garmin Aera 500 for years with no external antenna. I have never had any issues.

Currently being run in a Gizmo mount in the panel of the Mangy.

I have the Gizmo mount for the 660. I will go without the external antenna. I suppose it can always be added later.
    Thanks for your help
