    Default Minimum Panel question

I am working on my panel and I am wondering how many switches one needs. It's been too long since my last Kitfox to remember what I did before on it. Here is what I have so far:
Steam gauges for AS, Alt, VSI, compass, and turn and bank.
    Grand Rapids EIS
    Garmin 200 Com
    Garmin 327 Txp
    Garmin 660 GPS
    uAvionics ADSB
    Whellen strobe and marker lights

I am using fuses and have two buses of six fuse slots each. My plan is to have one buss for avionics/EIS and Turn and Bank and the 2nd one for lights and trim. I have a main master switch for the engine and separate one for the avionics buss. I am thinking that the main master could also power up the non-avionics buss. My question is whether or not this is good practice or whether I should also have a separate master for the second buss. Since I have switches for the strobe, nav-lights, and trim, I think maybe I don't need another switch/hole in the dash.

I'd like to hear others opinion on this before I move on to something else.

    Thanks,
    Maverick

One needs two more switches then they have. I put in two extra switches that were labeled AUX that were hooked up to nothing. By the time I flew I had stuff on those switches. I think the ability to load shed is important. My plane switch are:

    Master
Essential Buss(for running only the engine, EFI etc)
    Fuel Pump A
    Fuel Pump B
    Alternator 18A
    Alternator 40A

    EFIS
    COMM
    NAV/STROBE 3 pos
    Landing Light, recognition 3 pos
    Heat HI LO 3 pos
Panel light, cabin light 3 pos
AUX1 USB charger on or off)
AUX2 (runs A/F sensor, long story why this needs to be switched)
    Chemtrails

Maverick - right now I'm at 13 and one is still listed as a spare. Here's a cut and paste from the spread sheet I'm using. It is not yet complete - I'm still double checking the current draws and fuse requirements.

Device Fuse (min) Fused gauge wire Amp reqmts Switch
    EFIS 3 - 5A Y 22 1.5 Y
    EFIS warning light N/A N 0.2 N
Magnetometer power from the EFIS N 0 N
    EIS 5A Y 20 0.2 Y
    Radio 5A Y 3 Y
    Xponder 1A Y 20 0.36 Y
    ELT N/A N 0 N
    Nav/position lights 3A Y 1.02 Y
    Strobe lights 10A Y 4 Y
    Landing lights 10A Y 5.09 Y
    Flasher N/A N 2.54 Y
    Heater 5A Y 1.05 Y
    Spare N/A N 0 Y
    Ignition No N 0 N
    Master 5A N 1.5 Y
    Avionics Master Not separately N 0 N
    echoUATSkyFYX 3A Y 20 1.4 Y
    LEDs on switches N/A N 0.26 N
    Trim motor 7.5A Y 7 N*
    USB Power port 7.5A Y 6 Y
    Total Amps 32.58
    Total 10 13

    N*= separate switch in console

    Cheers,
