Thread: Fuel drain replacement

    Default Fuel drain replacement

I’m not near my build book. Anybody got a part number for the fuel drains? So, I can order some new ones... They’re looking suspect and one is leaking... Thanks.

Have you tried removing and cleaning? That usually helps.

Part # CAV-110 on page 175 of Spruce catalog. I just recently replaced 2 on mine and these are the ones I ordered. You may want to double check the catalog to be sure these are the ones you need. The O-rings can be replaced but if there's corrosion it's better to replace.

With the fuel stains, looks like this could have been going on for a while.

I could be wrong; but I believe the flush mount fuel drains are not serviceable as they are crimped on the backside. If they need replacement - Kitfox has them.

Might be worth a look-see to be sure this is not just leaking past the threads - that could be cleaned up.
