Default New Engine - competition for Rotax?

Saw these new engines in the latest Kitplanes Mag. Very interesting and I hope the factory offers the mule as a test bed!

Scroll down and read the FL series (Inverted V4).

    cheers

That is some interesting engineering. The "Stepped Piston" engine.

Designed to run on industry standard Jet fuel... Will also run and perform on all gasolines where necessary, 80,87,91,95 including 100LL along with all bio derivitives.

They are still in the concept and design phases. There is a long way to go before they need a mule.

How many engines have they got on that website? None are available to fly? All in engineering phase at the same time? Who does that? So, I sent off an inquiry. We will see.

The Lycoming parts appear to be the same engine/parts the Keven Ethridge was promoting a few years ago une the ACE brand. There was a thread on SC.org that I brought back up asking the status.

Anxious to hear what you get back from your inquiry

Appears this is a Japanese company which MAY mean they have the
funding and resources to actually build one.

Course I better get busy n fly my Rotax or I’m gonna be at my TBO
before the engine reaches its TBO. If you know what I mean
