Anyone flying the 2 blade luga ground adjustable prop on the rotax 912, that would like to comment on how it performs?

I just found out that Trent is using a ground adjustable fixed prop on his new 915is while he is waiting for the constant speed prop to arrive. Wow! His super performance at High Sierra was with a fixed prop! I can't imagine what he will do when the cs prop is installed; talk about a cub killer, we haven't seen nothin yet.

I have one on mine . But with Yamaha Rx1
Big difference between the warp drive prop
600fpm at 70 mph compared to 2200fpm at 70 mph. My warp drive prop is 72” and my luga is 79”

I am currently flying with a 75" 3 blade Whirlwind.
The Whirlwind is smooth and performs well.
I also am interested in the 2 blade Luga's performance since this prop is about 1/3 the cost and would most likely weigh less.
From talking to Hal Stockman (rotax big bore kits) I get the impression the 2 blade will not be as smooth as a 3 blade.

    Thanks for the offer.
Does having a spare mean you currently fly the same Luga?
How long is the luga, 2 blade, Rotax 912, ?
How do you like the luga and have you flown other props to compare?

I had to order my prop from Ukraine and had to send it back for warenty
While it was sent back I used my old warp drive prop
Liking the luga prop I decided to purchase a spare when he sent my original one back from warranty , I also have a 3 and a 2 blade hub and 6 blades 79”
My motor is a 140 hp Yamaha

I too am looking at the Luga.
Currently I have a 70" ground adjustable Warp Drive prop. with the metal leading edge. Never flew behind it.
My 912 big bore will need a new prop and possibly a change of gear box ratios.
The guys at Zipper have the engine and recommended both a gear ratio change and the two blade Luga.
A friend who has a series 5, 80hp. rotax and the warp drive 3 blade says to stick to a three blade for smoothness.
I'm no bush pilot and most of time, at first, will be local airports, grass strips and cross country work. I don't have
enough experience with any of the prop's for a 912 to have a valid opinion.
I have no idea which way to go but the current prop I have atm will have to be changed.
Anyone that has a Luga let us know how you like it.
