Man that is awesome. Nick, you are an inspiration to so many. Wishing you continued healing and success in your recovery.
Good to see your doing well. Get well. I hate to tell you this but you will never be the same. Bones will ache, knees will hurt, it's all part of ones Life Experiences. God's speed in getting better.

I'd like to be just a little bit more upbeat, if you read this Nikk. I have a friend who is a doctor at Children's Hospital here in Denver - Jeff Cain. Quite a few years back he lost both his legs beneath the knees in an airplane crash. He loves flying and old classic airplanes. He got "back on the horse" as soon as he could... he has 2 pretty high-tech artificial legs, and you'd never know it unless he wears shorts. He flies regularly (taildraggers) and does all kinds of other activities that most people never do. He was featured in an article in Sport Aviation with his Hatz biplane awhile back. He's an inspiration, like I know you will be too... hell, you already are. Heal well, and whatever happens I know you'll have a good life and will continue to enjoy and do things that most people in this world will never experience.

Nikk,
Great to see you vertical. Hang in there and keep moving. The more you move the better you will get. You will back at it in no time.

It’s exciting to see that Nikks go fund me goal has been reached.
It's not a terrible idea to keep one of these (https://www.midwayusa.com/product/10...r-handle-green) handy.
