    Default Floorboards

I was trimming the floorboards and noticed there isn’t much support below the mid and rear floorboards. I know that once they are screwed in, that the hardware will keep it under tension when it has weight on it, but it seems like it would be a little soft. Has anyone put stiffeners under their floorboards? Is there anything to be installed later that stiffeners might interfere with?

I think you’ll find it plenty strong enough. You get in the Kitfox butt first so you never have much weight on them.

Yes, they are plenty strong. No problems. You basically just rest your heels on them.

I agree with the others. Stiffeners are not needed and would add weight.
