Default What's going on with Garmin, and Jeppesen?

Little bit of venting here, curious if anybody else having these problems:

Just need to get Navdata for my panel mount Garmin, and Jeppdirect has
been offline for over a week, and their wait time is Infinity and Beyond for a
call by phone. Called fly.garmin.com,. and same thing: An hour+ wait for
    a product specialist

Guess, I'm flying with expired data, since not only is the cost outrageous
to begin with, but now the service is sub-sub-sub-par

Have legal data in charts, tablet, phone, etc. so not really a big deal, but it
sucks that all the big vendors are so poor with regard to simple support.

Jeff.. you’ll need a garmin account.. all done online not via phone. I updated a 696 yesterday...
There are some decent YouTube videos on the update process.. not real intuitive

Thanks John, but that's not the issue (wish it was)

The 696 uses a different system than does their panel mounts.

I have an account, and I also have Jeppesen Skybound programmer sitting
right in front of me, but the JeppDirect website has been off line for over a
week. They have a software called Jeppesen Download Manager, but the
website it connects to is offline so I can't get Navadata. Very annoying
especially since the telephone wait time is terrible.

I've got an older Panel Mount GNC-250XL, it has a pullout card that looks like
an older digital camera CF Card, it plugs into the Skybound programmer on
the computer, and it uploads the navadata into it (Assuming you can actually
    get the navadata)
