I'm trying to decide on a prop, but really have zero experience or knowledge. What are people using on the 912is?

It seems the factory uses the Whirlwind so that's what I bought. I have the Cruise prop.

The Airmaster propeller would be the best you could put on it. Around $11000 CA.

I have the 912is sport, Airmaster and 75", Airmaster ( whirlwind) 3 blade prop. I like it. John M will probably tell it should be the 72".

If not using the Airmaster I think the 72".

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I neglected to come back to this topic, but it's something I've been looking at a lot the last week. Currently I really like the Airmaster AP332CTF-WWR70Z. I eventually plan on having floats, so this, with it's reversing option would be ideal (i think).

It's a lot more money than I originally expected to spend on a prop, but i think the long term (and short term) advantage will be well worth it.

I have been looking to price these CS props but haven’t been able to find prices? Why is that? I found a distributor but of course no price.

Just email Airmaster with your details and they will provide a quote. They are a very good company to deal with in my experience.

FWIW my set up (CS unit and 75"blades was about $Aus10k (3 years ago)

    cheers

$13200 New Zealand dollars for the 3 blade feathering 70" whirlwind w blades.

Its another 500 for the beta reversing option.
