So I’m just finally wiring my ignition switch and it say that all wires should be shielded. Is this just for the actual ignition wires or is it talking about ever single wire coming of the ignition switch?

I downloaded the Van's RV12/Rotax 912uls electrical schematic and it showed shielded wire only for the R&L ignition wires, so that's what I did. Been working fine.

Thanks Jim. The kitfox schematic doesn’t show which ignition is L or R. Does it make a difference?

With a Rotax it shouldn’t make any difference, Josh. If it was a Lycoming with an impulse coupling on the left mag, and you’re using a conventional Bendix-style keyed ignition switch, it would. Rotax marks the ignition modules “A” & “B”, and you could call either one whatever you want.
