Default Horizontal Stab strut Attach ??

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any instructions in the plans of what to do for access in the Horiz Stab where the struts attach. What did you do?
    Thanks

The Fabric Covering section for the horizontal stab of the build manual gives dimensions of a thin aluminum reinforcing plate that you make to glue on the inside of the fabric around the cutout for the strut attach area. I made the plates and installed them, but when I cut the fabric out of the middle I only cut about half of the plate opening. I thought the full cutout was way bigger than necessary. My smaller cutout has been satisfactory. I left it open. Most guys make a thin cover plate held on by small screws, but I just left mine open, sort of as a drain.
