    Default Mic's spot tracker

    Hi folks,

I can not find Mic'c spot page from his trip from Canada to Oshkosh. Can someone send me the link, I want to see if he has made it home.

    Thanks

Jim, Mic is home safe and sound from his epic trip to AirVenture 2017.
I saw an update on Facebook where I also was watching his progress. I suspect that since he is home now that Spot tracking is no longer available on that trip.

    Hi Jim
Sorry haven't been on the Kitfox blog for a while. Yes I did make it home safely. It was an amazing adventure thanks to yourself and others I met along the way. We really do have an amazing group of aviators. Every one was so willing to help. I'd make a list but would surely miss some one. So those on this list a BIG Thankyou. You helped make it a trip of a life time for me.
Some rough numbers: straight line miles according to ForeFlight 5700 miles over 25 days, 6 days at Oshkosh, 75 flight hours. Most expensive fuel $2 in Marathon, Ontario. Cheapest fuel 3.65 a gallon. Highest temperature was 39C in Shelby, Montana. Highest density altitude was 11800' while flying at 6700' near Hotspring, Wyoming. Many new friends who I hope to be able to return the favours one day.
    Countless memories.

    Hi Mic,

Glad your trip was a successful trip and I am sure you will relive many of the events for years to come. Thank you for sharing your experiences with all of us, I hope to some day fly that many miles as you did, you encourage all of us. One thing I did not say when we were together was, thank you for farming, we all need your products every day, farming can be a hard life but a very rewarding life. We will meet again friend.

    Jim
