Default how do remove smurf pee(100ll) from poly tone

It had been suggested to use 100ll itself to remove stains but it doesnt work. Any suggestions? Thinking i just need to spray over it, does this work, or will it show through?

I've had some luck with the Mr Clean Magic Eraser product...

3M Sharpshooter is also an aggressive cleaner that has worked for me to remove stains.

    Ken,

Curious what topcoat you have on the plane?

What product you have for a topcoat likely will determine how far through the stain is and what will be needed to deal with it.

Simple green works really well, but wipe it off before it dries, or it might etch the paint. Rinse with water. They make a less aggressive version, but I don't know how well it works.

    Poly-tone. Magic eraser didn't work.

    Ken,

Poly Tone is much more susceptible to staining than Aerothane. Even the Poly Fiber manual indicates if left too long after the fuel gets on it - it can be nearly impossible to remove it all.

If you have the 2001 revision of the Poly Fiber Manual - check page 103

The first poly fiber recommended procedure is:
Poly Fiber recommends first starting with Clorox laundry bleach working it in with a sponge and then flushing with plenty of water.

If that doesn't work - PF recommends trying this: NOTE THE CAUTION BELOW
Dissolve 1 level teaspoon of swimming pool granulated chlorine in two ounces of water. Add two ounces of MEK and two ounces of poly fiber BR8600 Blush Retarder Soak the stained area 3-5 minutes with a sponge or brush. Good for two hours then discard.
THIS MIXTURE WILL PRODUCE CHLORINE GAS - DO NOT STORE IT-DO NOT BREATH IT-DO NOT GET IT ON SKIN OR EYES

One of the great deals about poly tone is that you can easily refinish and blend new paint in. If worse comes to worse - a person can dissolve the stained top coat off, in part or in whole, with a rag and MEK - feathering the edge. A person should be able to take it down to the grey sunblock (leave that in place) allow to dry and apply/blend a new top coat of the original poly tone paint. Poly Tone works very much like lacquer - it is a simple solvent carried paint and does not polymerize like enamels or urethanes so you can undo the original coat layer by layer and the old and new topcoats will merge into each other. A bit of art & effort involved but it works.

annoying stains.....hate that when it happens! Wish you luck.

I have some stains in my (unstainable) Aerothane, and it simply does not come off with anything short of sandpaper if it's really in there, you have to live with it. I tried everything other than the previously mentioned sandpaper, and it does not come out.
