    Default Rotax 912 tac wiring

Having trouble figuring out how to hook up tac. Out of motor I have 1 white with red stripe and 1 white with green stripe tac leads. The rotax tac has three pins in back labeled 1, 2, 3 .

Does anyone know what pin goes to what?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Found this on the Roan website. I still could not get mine to work. I bought a new UMA tach for the rotax and it works great. (Note)My rotax tach was used.

    Scott,
You may note in the ROAN schematic that there is no reference to wire colors, I believe this is because it does not matter. I am using a Dynon system and it states you can ground either wire and use the other for signal (the pickup coil is floating so it has no ground reference).

Thanks for finding this. I looked all over on the ROAN website for a document like this. Makes sense that color does not matter as it's AC voltage.
