I made a horse shoe shape piece of aluminum to reinforce the backside of the fiberglass. probably dont need those but I did.

Hi David,
I did mine just like Eddie ( without the reinforcing) - they work great at wig wags and landing lights but I only use the Wig Wag for recognition as I dont fly at night. Must admit I didn't make a really neat job of the perspex cover but it does the job! People regularly comment how bright they are, especially when in the circuit.

Did you have the tips that were pre-formed for the landing lights, or the earlier version tips? Just curious as mine have no provisions for the lights and I am working on that now.

Sorry, mine were pre formed - now I understand why you are looking for tips on how to do it! Good luck - I don't think it would a big fibreglass job though to adapt - I havn't seen posts her of people doing it though -
