Well, Using your Technical Counselor as your DAR makes the final inspection much quicker than anticipated. He was provided the paperwork two weeks ago, we got some items corrected and then today the inspection was uneventful and pretty quick as he has seen my work throughout the build. I have a certificate as of this morning! Now, Caldwell trip coming up Wednesday to fly with Stick and Rudder on Thursday provided the weather allows.

Okay! It is official. N69EF has flown! 45 min flight above Chino Airport following the EAA test flight manual. Flew hands off. Got a little chopy at the time I was going hands off but it seems to not need any input from me to fly straight and level.
Picture this evening. Had breakfast with my boys and now the wind has picked up where it was dead calm for my flight. Sweet!
