Hey Eddie, how does the pooch like flying? I would love to take mine but don't think there is enough room.
Nice meeting you and your boys at oshkosh!

plus 145 for ED is 1166. 1320 -1166 = 154# to spare. Is that correct, the SS7 has a 1320 LSA weight limit? Damn, I gotta lose a lotta weight at 260 #

The friends RV-12 unpainted goes 753#.

20 gallon tank is 120# in fuel.

    873 # wet.

1320 if you are building it under light sport. If not worried about light sport, 1550 is it's weight limit.

Likewise Ken. Funny how I just stumbled on that tucked away location John was in.
I just took her up for a spin around the pattern. A lot of stim for a French Bulldog in 90 degree heat. Couldn't leave the doors closed long so taxied back to the hangar. She did well, better than I expected for a first flight not to mention ear muffs too.

    Eddie,

Thanks again for coming down to Ramona and letting me take a look at your KF. It definitely helped me visualize what I'm in for, and has doubled my excitement about my build.
