    Default Quarter Window

Does anyone have pictures of the quarter windows during construction and how they fit into the window frame? I'm working on the window frames and it's not quite clear if the window is supposed to fit between the airframe and the window frame, or if you cut the window smaller and it sits flush with the airframe. Not installing the windows yet, but just want to understand it so I install the frames in a way that will account for them later.

It's not between the flashing and airframe like a sandwich. It's inset, or flush with the airframe to the aluminum flashing.
You should be able to remove or install them later.

Ok, that's what I was trying to confirm. Makes sense. Thanks!

If anyone has any pictures you would like to share, myself and I'm sure others would appreciate.

We just used 3m 2 sided tape and attached the windows after frames where covered with oratex. Clean look IMO. No issues with either plane.

Same here. Just used the double sided foam tape and it has held just fine. Oratex on my plane as well.
