    I don't have the I-Pad, but needed a USB port for my tablet. I found a dual car adaptor and mounted it below the panel using a "U" strap riveted to the lower flange. Using a Dremel cut off wheel, I carefully cut off the plug that inserts into the cigarette lighter socket which exposed the circuit board so I could hard wire it to the USB breaker. Giant heat shrink tubing encloses all that is in the back.

    I have ordered an Ipad Mini 2 for use in my Kitfox Model 3. Is anybody else using the Mini 2 in their plane? What can I expect? I'm thinking about using the Stratus GPS system as well.
