    Default Float mounts?

Hey guys, fairly new to the forum...I have narrowed my airplane search down to a kitfox that I would like to put amphibs on. I am looking to get a used kitfox iv 1200 at some point.

My question is this, do the airframes come standard with float fittings or is that an option or something the owner needs to fabricate and install? Thanks for the help!

They should be there if they were not cut off.

Models 3 and 4 have the 4th bracket used for float (and Grove spring gear) installation. When mounting floats, KF3 and 4-1050 (both 1050lb. mtow) require use of a lower fuselage strengthener brace, 4-1200 does not (see: pic of brace attached).
