It looks like one of our family had a bad day. I saw this on an AOPA posting from earlier this week.

That stinks. I believe that is a Zenith 750 in the background as well.
Maxwell Duke
Kitfox S6 IO-240 Built it (Flying since 2003)
Maule M7-235C Sold it (liked it though)
RV-10 IO-540 Bought it
Zenith CH-750 Built with 7 friends (DAR Vic Syracuse)
Watch the video. I would imagine the person driving in just as it starts getting bad had a harrowing experience having to sit in his car and ride the storm out!

That was a nice Paint scheme! I hope he had insurance.

That is a kitfox 1 and also a 750 being built, the storm was about 10 miles from my airport. Bad deal, but look how well the landing gear held up that is impressive. The guy who owns it bought it to look at, not to fly.
"The guy who owns it bought it to look at, not to fly." Really? He never flew it? As mentioned, that plane looks like it had an expensive, or at least a very nice paint scheme. Any pictures of it before it was made into a low wing?
