Default spacing between comm and transponder

Im laying out my instrument panel. I have a icom a200 and a kt76a. I was going to put the transponder below the comm. There are air holes on top of the trans. Is there a minimal gap to leave between the two, or should i put the transponder on top of the comm ? Thanks, ken

You will find that most Cessna and Piper spacing is similar to what I did, about 1/8" between bezels.
