    Default ford tri-motor

I was over at the big hanger at zephyrhills airport the other day and saw that one of the ford tri-motors was temporarilly being stored there. Then yesterday i get my sport aviation magazine in the mail, and there is a story about it. Cool looking plane.

    Ken,
I volunteer on the tri-motor for the entire week of OSH. and when it is selling rides here in Z-hills.

I have been lucky enough to ride right seat in it a few times. The controls are a little heaver than my kitfox

Louie, I think it flies about the same speed as your model 3, maybe slower. Ken
    P.s. nice fly-overs

Our EAA Chapter sponsored this one at Georgetown, TX in November. Just had to take my granddaughters for a ride.

Yeah, they are cool old airplanes....they are just so nostalgic.

One of my friends (and also my Vice Chairman of Air Ops at EAA's Seaplane Base) is one of the pilots that helps train and checkout the new trimotor pilots. I just talked to him last night, teasing him about being famous now that he's in Sport Aviation

When did Hollywood start putting the little wheel on the front? Back then, Real Aviators knew which end they belonged on!
