Engine change?

How difficult is it to completely change engine types?

One day I will own a Series V or newer but I'll want a 912S or 914. Seems most of the used Kitfox have the Subaru or Lycoming/Continental engines.

New mount and cowling and off we go or should it even be considered?

Andy- I believe it's been done before so you should be able to do it. Most of what you may need is close by since you are in Boise and Homedale isn't too far for you.

I know the Rotax powered Kitfoxs are pretty popular but they do come up from time to time so stay vigilant on here and Barnstormers. They tend to sell fast when they do pop up if they are in good condition. Good luck with your search.
