Default Fuel Line: fuel injected or carb?

Reading good things on this forum regarding Gates Barricade fuel hose. When I went to buy some, I found that there are two kinds; one for fuel injection and one for carbureted. I see that fuel injection variety is favored and I was wondering why.

Well, historically the FI line was more vapor resistant presumably since it was setup for higher pressures so that's what many of us used. Then Barricade came out which should solve the vapor permeability problem so I would guess it's not as important to have the FI line.
