    Default glare shield fabric

instructions say that I should cover with fabric before final install. Is anyone using a fabric glue?? or how are you keeping it tight and flat against the glare shield?

Patrick, I did not glue mine. I used thin padding under apholstery vinyl and wrapped it under the glare shield at the top edge of the instrument panel. The other ends are held in place between the glare shield and wind screen. Worked well and looks good. Sorry I don't have a good picture.

I used 3M Uphostery Fabric Glue in a spray can. Can be found at most auto uphostery shops, woks fine.

I used loctite adhesive spray from walmart, lowes. I put a 1/4" foam and naugahide on the glareshield. ken

I used the 3M spray glue (77?) as recommended by Kitfox for all my fabric work. It works great, but is like contact cement (if you spray it on both surfaces) so it grabs right away. Be careful not to spray it on too heavy, otherwise it will soak thru in spots and show on the outside.

I also used 3M Spray 77, be neat and it works great, overspray can make a sticky mess.
