John, thank you. Thank you for your many years of friendship. For all your wisdom so generously shared on these pages from almost the very beginning of this forum. I think I?m safe in saying, we will all miss your postings. They were always based on common sense and best practices no matter relating to building or after the build servicing and repairs. I will miss seeing you at Oshkosh and of course here on the forums. May God bless you and your wife.

John - a tough decision but when based on family first responsibilities, it is one that proves the respect you have earned here is exceeded only by that we have for a man that puts his family first. BUT - that doesn't mean your experiences shouldn't continue to be shared on this forum. It ain't goodby, just a new title: Supreme Advisor and Wise Counselor (SAWC - pronounced sock -for short).

Your thoughtfulness and kind posts concerning my build come to mind even now. Even when I was going down "the rabbit hole", you were always a class act and had constructive inputs. I built a better aircraft because of Forum members like you.

Hi John, sorry to hear about you selling the Kitfox and especially the reasons for it. You have been a great help to many on this forum, and your posts will be missed if you drop off the forum. And I'm sure you are aware how badly Kitfox builders need as many as possible who are knowledgeable about Kitfox builds to continue to be active on the forum. I'm sure you have, but I'll say it anyway, think long and hard before you part with the plane, perhaps things will take a turn for the better. I hope they do, JImChuk

Shoot John, I am just catching on, I PMd you having not read any of this. except the classified.
Im sorry to hear all this but I know your still going to look in on us from time to time. That's comforting to all of us as they have contested. I sure was hoping to catch a chance to
fly into Osh with you once. I missed the opportunity that time due to weather but it was so great to have made your aquaintance there in the Homebuilt camping. That Tornado stuff and all the noise of rain on the wings and tent was most memorable. It wouldn't have been as memorable without you there and the others of course. Hug the Wife for us. God Bless
