Wonderful that she was able to fly with you. Hope this is the first of many.

Wow John, Terrific story in multiple ways! Getting her in was the challenging part. She looks very comfortable by the looks of that big smile. Thanks for posting.

That's great John. Wish my wife would fly with me; I'm usually alone for my $100 burgers, but wouldn't mind at all to make it $200.

Thank you, all of you guys! It is very nice to be able to share it... I'm very lucky that she loves to fly with me. I gave her her first ride in a small airplane about the time we were first married. She's flown to Oshkosh with me several times. We used to fly up to our old home in Montana sometimes a couple of times a year. We flew all over the country in my Thorp. Just a very few of the places that pop into my head... Aspen, Placerville, CA, Kentucky Dam, Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Meigs Field in Chicago, Nashville, Dayton, Four Corner's area, Sedona, Monument Valley, West Yellowstone, etc., etc., etc. It was a good day yesterday.

Very inspirational John! I wish you two many more enjoyable flights together!
Very nice that you were able to fly your wife around John. Mine won't fly with me under any circumstances, which may show her wisdom, but then she won't fly with anyone else either, so maybe it isn't all me... Very nice for you and yours, and I hope you can do many more together. JImChuk
Beautiful plane and backstory. Life can be very sweet at times. Congratz!

That's such a great story John. Thanks for sharing. 49 years. That's inspiring!! Glad you were able to figure a way to get her back in the plane with you. Here's to many more flights and smiles like that one.
