Have you tried slipping it in on approach then at about 75 foot agl correct your atitude then set her down easily,..if you try this ..start with a little speed and higher then 75 foot at first then work your way down to 5mph above stall,..you can loose allot of altitude,..with less forward speed,..but keep enough airflow for good response of controls,..lay her right over on her right side nose high,. left rudder and feather your stick to keep her on her side,. reduced power..
When your practicing any new approach for landing ,..you do not have to land everytime,..it's the approach you work on first,..after a while you'll feel it when it all comes together and you won't be able to keep the smile from appearing on your face when it does

Another way to do it and is fun. make a short approach, left turn to final, keep left and put in full right rudder, slice down to the runway with lots of down. way fun, if to fast, just off the runway approach(20ft agl), level off, level wings, keep in full left rudder. As soon as you have 60mph straighten out or let up on the rudder. Land.
