It's looking really good. Like the others, I like how you set of the other colors with the white base coat. Looks really sharp! Even at 4m! LOL! Good luck with the rest of the paint job.

I wish I had thought about it earlier. My wife left mid afternoon for San Francisco to board a working flight to Sydney. I thought of going out and getting some tape and having her take it and mail it from there. I didn't have your address.

She used to fly to Sydney a lot but not so much recently. She has submitted the paperwork for retirement and now is working down a bucket list of her favorite destinations. I think Sydney is very close to the top.

I have no idea why she is looking out there.

Thanks for the comments KF - more pics below as I unveiled the fuselage!

Lowell, I think your wife has fine taste! Sydney (where I was born and raised) is a great and beautiful city - is that your wife in the photo looking throught he telescope? if you mean you dont know what she was looking at it would be acroos the harbour to Kirribilli House - our Prime Ministers Sydney Residence. Anyway, thanks for the thought re the tape but I am sure we can find some here. I am happy with the result on the fuselage I got today - albeit a straight run. Tomorrow will see the black strip!

    cheers

Yes, That is her. She took me along a couple of times to pet the Koalas at Featherdale and get some fish and chips. While strolling the waterfront we stopped and listened to some Christmas music.

Up early this morning to beat the heat and got the fuselage finished - well apart from the touch-up bits I need to do from a few little carless over sprays!

Thanks Scott - but notice that I take the photos from at least 4m away! but I am enjoying learning how to do it and every little mistake is fixable!

Hell if your are taking photos from only 4 feet away that's a great paint job. My paint job would look good if I stood about 25 feet away.

Yeah, I know Dorsal - we all just want it to turn out like we have been painting planes professionally for 20 years I guess! A little unrealistic!

By the way, how has your nose healed up - I hope no lasting problems?

    cheers
