    Default Subaru EA-81 PSRU

With 40+ hours on my NSI EA-81 I found a little spring steel clip on the magnetic plug in the clutch housing. The clutch itself still operates smoothly (no first stage failure). The clutch is an A30. I can replace it with a used A30 for $1000 or an A40 for $4000. Is the A40 that much more durable than the A30? After an engine out landing due to broken push rods my wife want to make my Kitfox a paperweight. Any info would be helpful.
    Thanks
    Bud

Thats bad news I have also taken my EA81 NSI engine out as it cracked the side out of the crown of pisto numder 3. The engine kept running, it happened on take off a lot of vibration, managed to fly circuit and land, was still able to idle.

    Cheers Spotty
