Default Short Landings on Dirt Strip

I did a few dirt strip short landings yesterday at my local class D airport. I think they were each about 250 ft, but couldn't get out of my plane and measure them because, of course the tower at a class D airport wouldn't allow that.

Looks good Steve, thanks for posting! I wouldn't mind having a dirt strip at FFZ as I know it would get a lot of use.

    Dan,
Yes the dirt strip is nice. We now have a grass strip also thanks to another Kitfox owner that mowed a strip. After he made it (when the tower was closed) the airport said we could keep it and use it!

Nice video Steve! Next time your doing stop and goes on the dirt throw a small flour bomb out the right door (so the guys in the tower don't see) at the touchdown point and the stopping point and have your "lawn mower friend" go back after the tower closes and measure the distance.
